The Firm represented Foundation Garments (Private) Limited in the sale of two of its subsidiaries, Jinadasa Bennett (Private) Limited and Foundation Bennett (Private) Limited, along with certain identified assets, to Q Collection Pte. Ltd., a Singapore-based apparel manufacturer, for a total consideration of Sri Lanka Rupees 2.7 billion.
This strategic transaction is aimed at simplifying and rationalising the structure of the Hela Group and its business verticals, with a view to enhancing overall profitability.
